() Mobile App Development

Mobile app development in Dubai, built to earn the home screen.

Dubai is the most competitive digital market in the region. Your competitors are already bidding on your keywords, your buyers compare three sites before they call, and most of them decide in the first five seconds. We build for that reality — bilingual from day one, fast on real mobile networks, and measured on enquiries rather than impressions.

  • From AED 20,000
  • MVP in 8–14 weeks
  • Fixed price, no scope creep
  • Bilingual EN + AR
  • You own every file
  • Itemised proposal within 24 hours. No obligation.

()The market

What delivering digital work in Dubai actually involves

Bilingual from the start

Dubai's audience splits across English and Arabic. Customer-facing strategy, identity, content and interfaces must account for both from the start, with Arabic written and designed for right-to-left reading rather than added after the English work is finished.

Built for acquisition pressure

Winning attention in Dubai is expensive. Clear positioning, short customer journeys and measurable outcomes matter because weak work wastes the spend used to bring people to it, whether the channel is search, social, referral or a sales team.

Local trust signals wired in

UAE trade licence details, VAT-compliant invoicing, a real local address and WhatsApp as a first-class contact channel should appear consistently wherever they are relevant — across the brand, customer journey and digital touchpoints.

Made for mobile-first decisions

We review customer-facing work at real phone sizes and on UAE mobile connections, not only on a fast office laptop. A page, interface or campaign asset that becomes unclear on a phone loses the decision before the enquiry starts.

The home screen is the scarcest space you will ever compete for

An app asks for something a website never does: permanent space on a device someone carries everywhere, plus an install, plus a signup — all before it has proved anything. A good deal of what gets commissioned as an app in this market is really a website someone wants on a phone, and it is the version that gets deleted in the first week.

So the first question is what the app does that a mobile browser cannot. Push notifications people actually want. Working with no signal. Camera, location, saved payment. Something opened weekly rather than annually. If none of that applies, we will say so — a responsive site is cheaper to build and will get used more.

UAE networks and devices are not the ones in the design review

The app gets used in a basement car park under a mall, in a lift halfway up a tower, and in a car on Sheikh Zayed Road handing between cells. Coverage here is good and still not continuous, and an app that assumes a live connection shows a spinner at precisely the moment someone needed it.

So it is built to work from the device first: writes queue and sync when the connection returns, the last state stays readable offline, and a half-completed form is never lost to a dropped request. The device mix skews to recent iPhones alongside a wide Android range, and we test on the low end of both — that is where the frustration lives, not on the newest handset in the office.

One codebase, and why that is the right default here

We build in React Native: a single codebase running natively on iOS and Android. The reason is commercial rather than technical — you are not paying twice for the same feature, the two platforms cannot quietly drift apart in what they support, and a fix ships to both at once instead of to whichever one got attention that month.

The store side is part of the work, not an afterthought: Apple and Google review accounts, listings written in both English and Arabic, screenshots, privacy declarations, and the rejection cycles that come with a first submission. We publish under your developer accounts, so the app is yours in the stores rather than something you have to ask us to release.

What it costs, and what you hold afterwards

A focused first release — login, a core feature set, payments and push — runs AED 20,000 to 45,000, typically eight to fourteen weeks to a store-ready build. A feature-rich app with a custom backend, multiple user roles and complex integrations runs AED 50,000 to 100,000 and up, and is scoped in a working session before any figure is quoted.

You own every file: the mobile codebase, the backend API, the database schema and the deployment configuration, hostable with any major cloud provider. An app whose source you do not hold is a subscription with an icon on it — the whole point of commissioning one is that it ends up an asset on your side of the table.

They genuinely understood how our guests browse. Direct bookings come straight through the site now, and I spend far less time going back and forth on WhatsApp.

FAQ

Mobile App Development in Dubai — common questions

Still deciding?

Send one line about your project and we will tell you what it costs and how long it takes — within 24 hours, with no sales call.

  • Are you actually based in Dubai?

Yes — Dubai is our headquarters and where the team works from. You can meet us in person, and most of our live case studies are UAE businesses.

  • Do you deliver the Arabic version too, or just English?

Both, as standard. Arabic is handled as a primary deliverable with its own writing, typography and right-to-left layouts where the work includes an interface. We do not finish the English work and attach a machine translation afterwards.

  • How long does a Dubai project usually take?

Timelines depend on the service and scope. A focused brand or marketing engagement can take three to six weeks; e-commerce, applications and automation usually take longer. We define the deliverables and review stages before you commit.

  • What is the cost of Mobile App Development in Dubai?

Published prices for Mobile App Development: Focused app: AED 20,000 – 45,000; Feature-rich app: AED 50,000 – 100,000+. The final quote depends on the agreed scope and integrations. Send your brief for an itemised proposal.

  • Can we meet in person in Dubai?

Yes. Dubai is our home market and where the team works from, so kickoff, design reviews and handover can all happen face to face. Plenty of clients prefer to run it remotely — both work equally well.
