NxFold rebuilt its reservation flow around one rule: nothing waits on a form submission. 01 The problem behind Let's Go

Let's Go was competing in a market where customers expect to book a car faster than they order food. The existing flow — date pickers, form submissions, waiting for email confirmations — was killing conversions in a city that operates at speed, on mobile, on the move.

  • How do you show a price instantly when rates change by season and duration?

    The rate logic lives in one place and the interface reads it — season, duration bands, delivery zone and extras all resolve as the selection changes. What the customer sees is a single number that updates; what you maintain is a rate table, not a set of hard-coded prices.

  • We take a deposit and check licences. Doesn't that break an instant flow?

    It breaks a badly designed one. The rule is to collect what you need to hold the car and defer the rest to handover. A deposit pre-authorisation can happen at checkout; a licence photo does not have to.

  • What actually made the booking faster?

    Removing the waits, mostly. Pricing that resolved as you selected instead of after submitting, delivery chosen inline instead of by reply, and confirmation that arrived on screen rather than by email. None of it was a redesign of how the cars look.

  • How long does a booking flow like this take?

    Six to ten weeks including the rate logic and payment. Less if you already have a fleet system with an API; more if rates live in a spreadsheet, because then we build the rate model first and that is where the time goes.

  • Would this work for something other than cars?

    Anywhere the customer chooses from stock at a price that varies by duration — equipment, boats, venues, chauffeur transfers. The pattern is the same: resolve the number early and remove the reply-and-wait.
