Free Chrome extension

Every audit tool gives you a score. This one gives you the fix.

Click the toolbar icon and read a full report on the page in front of you — eight dimensions, and every finding carries the reason it matters, the change to make, and what it is worth. Nothing you audit leaves your machine.

No account · No API key · Nothing collected · Works offline

(✦)The problem

"SEO score: 82" has never fixed anything

Most audit extensions hand you a number and leave. A number tells you something is wrong somewhere — which you already suspected. It does not tell you which line to change, whether it is worth an afternoon, or what it does for the business.

01

A score is not a decision

82 out of 100 gives you no way to choose between rewriting a title tag and fixing your contrast ratios. One takes five minutes and moves clicks; the other takes a day. The number ranks them identically.

02

Findings without fixes

"Meta description missing" restates the problem. What you need is the description itself — written to the length search engines actually render, from the words already on the page.

03

Code checks, blind to the business

A page can pass every technical audit and still have no call to action above the fold, a hero carrying 130 words, and not one trust signal anywhere. No linter catches that.

04

Results that move on you

Tools that call a remote API return different answers on different days, so you cannot tell whether the page improved or the vendor changed a weight.

(01)What it checks

Eight dimensions, on the live rendered page

It reads the page as it actually rendered — after JavaScript, with real computed styles — which is why it can measure things a server-side crawler cannot.

SEO

Title, meta description, canonical, robots, hreflang, JSON-LD, Open Graph, Twitter cards, the heading outline, internal linking and robots.txt.

Performance

LCP, FCP, CLS and TTFB from the real navigation, plus long tasks, payload by type, third-party weight, compression, render-blocking resources and DOM size.

Accessibility

Colour contrast computed with the actual WCAG maths, alt text, accessible names, form labels, landmarks, focus handling, ARIA validity, duplicate ids and tap targets.

UX

Typographic scale, font sprawl, button consistency, spacing rhythm, line length, visual hierarchy, whitespace and form length.

Security

HTTPS, mixed content, CSP, HSTS, clickjacking, referrer policy, cookie flags, version disclosure and tabnabbing.

Mobile

Viewport, pinch-zoom, horizontal overflow, tap-target size, base font size, autocomplete and media behaviour.

Content

Word count, Flesch reading ease, grade level, sentence and paragraph length, keyword density and boilerplate ratio.

Business

Value proposition strength, CTA placement, trust signals, testimonials, pricing clarity, contact channels, FAQ and social proof.

(✦)(03) How it stays free

No key, no account, no backend — by construction

Everything in the report is computed on your machine by a deterministic rule engine. The only network requests it makes are to the site you are auditing: one header probe and one robots.txt fetch.

  • Nothing to rate-limit or reprice

There is no vendor in the loop, so there is no free tier to shrink and no key to revoke. It works the same on day 1,000 as on day one, offline.

  • Nothing you audit leaves your machine

No page content, no URLs, no telemetry. You can run it against a staging environment or a client's admin panel without sending anything anywhere.

  • The same page always gives the same report

A deterministic engine means a changed score is a changed page — which is the only thing that makes comparing two runs worth doing.

  • Built by the people who ship the fixes

The checks come out of the same work we do for clients every week, which is why the recommendations read like a consultant rather than a linter.

(04) Privacy & permissions

What the extension does with your data: nothing

This is the full privacy disclosure for the extension, and it is short because there is very little to disclose. The audit runs entirely on your machine. It asks for no site access at install — the one permission that needs it is optional, off by default, and revocable.

Data handling

  • No account, no sign-in, and no identifier of any kind is created
  • No page content, URL or audit result is ever transmitted to us
  • No analytics, telemetry or crash reporting exists in the extension
  • Audit history is stored locally on your machine and is never synced
  • Two outbound requests only, both to the site you are auditing: one header probe and one robots.txt fetch
  • Nothing is sold, shared or disclosed to any third party, because nothing is collected

Why each permission is requested

activeTab · scripting
Reads the one tab you are on, and only when you click the icon. This is the audit itself — without it there is nothing to measure. It grants no standing access to anything.
storage
Keeps your audit history on your own machine so two runs of the same page can be compared. Local only, never synced.
cookies · site access — optional, off by default
Not requested at install. Granted only if you switch on Deep scan in Settings, and used only to read cookie flags (Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite) and response headers such as CSP and HSTS. Cookie values are never read, stored or transmitted, and you can hand the grant back from the same switch.
