(✦) — Bu Hamdan: an Arabic vehicle marketplace
Bu Hamdan is an Arabic car marketplace for Kuwait, bringing individual sellers, showrooms and dealers into one mobile experience. NxFold developed a vehicle discovery journey with brand browsing, search filters, listing results and detailed vehicle pages showing prices in Kuwaiti dinars. Buyers can save listings and searches, then message sellers within the app. Sellers can create and manage advertisements, with new listings and content changes reviewed before public display. The Arabic interface includes sign-in and registration screens, while reporting and blocking controls support marketplace management. Vehicle inspection, sale agreements and payment take place directly between buyer and seller outside the app.
01 — Help buyers narrow the choice before they message
A car listing carries more than a price and a photograph. Buyers need to narrow a large choice by make, model, year and specification, then understand a particular vehicle before contacting its seller. Sellers need a way to present their cars and manage the information they publish. The design challenge was to connect those needs in Arabic while keeping the next action clear on a phone: continue browsing, refine the search, inspect a listing or start a conversation.
02 — Connect the search to a specific vehicle
Give each stage a clear purpose. Brand browsing helps someone start with a familiar make; filters narrow the options; results help them decide what to open; the vehicle page brings the details and seller contact together. Keep the Arabic reading order, headings and controls consistent across those steps. Saved listings and searches support considered decisions, while messaging carries the interest in a specific car into a conversation. This is mobile app development organised around how the marketplace is used.
03 — Bring browsing, accounts and seller contact together
We developed the home, brand and filter, result-list and vehicle-detail experiences alongside account sign-in and registration. Listing pages bring vehicle imagery, specifications and KWD prices into the same decision context as the seller message action. The app supports advertisements with photos and video, favourites, saved searches and management of a seller’s own listings. New advertisements and content edits pass through review before becoming public. Reporting and blocking give users a route to flag content or manage unwanted contact. The app connects discovery and communication; inspection, the sale agreement and payment remain between the parties.

Questions about building a vehicle marketplace
What should the first version of a car marketplace include?
Define the discovery and seller-contact journey first. Bu Hamdan connects vehicle filters, listing details, saved interests, messaging and seller advertising. A similar project starts by deciding which of those journeys your initial audience needs and who will operate the marketplace.
What does an Arabic marketplace need in its interface?
Plan reading order, navigation, form labels and action placement together. Bu Hamdan carries the Arabic interface through browsing, search filters, vehicle details and account access. Your project also needs decisions about vehicle terminology, prices and any additional languages.
How should we scope seller publishing and moderation?
Agree who may publish, who reviews content and what happens when an advertisement changes. Bu Hamdan includes management of a seller’s own ads, review before publication, reporting and blocking. For your marketplace, we define those responsibilities and user journeys before quoting the work.
Does a similar marketplace need to handle the vehicle payment?
That depends on the business model. Bu Hamdan connects discovery and communication; inspection, the sale agreement and payment happen directly between buyer and seller outside the app. Adding payments would require a separately defined transaction journey.
What information do you need to scope and price our app?
Share the target market, seller types, vehicle fields, source of initial listings and required languages. Explain who reviews advertisements and how buyers should contact sellers. We use those decisions to define the screens, account and publication workflows, and project quotation.
